The current absence of a sufficient number of employees in the labor market with the necessary skills that meet the requirements of employers inevitably leads to the painstaking work on creation of reliable tools for sustainable leadership on the world stage. This paper examines three groups of factors that affect labor productivity, reveals the advantages of the dual training system in the context of modern challenges, identifies trends in the development of professional education as well as solutions for high-quality training of qualified workers. The steps towards open cooperation between the state, educational organizations and business (WorldSkills) are outlined. The author concludes that with the sensible management of the dual training principles, a new psychology of a future specialist is created, who maintains a balance between solving social and economic problems and preserving the environment.
