Статья посвящена анализу систематического положения и распространения инвазивного вредителя – дубовой кружевницы Corythucha arcuata (Say, 1832) (Hemiptera: Tingidae). В работе приведена история таксономического изучения вида, начиная с первоописания и последующего объединения ряда близких форм в единый вид. Детально рассмотрено распространение C. arcuata в естественном (аборигенном) ареале – Северной Америке. Анализ исторических сведений и современных данных показал, что к настоящему времени вид зарегистрирован в 40 штатах США и 3-х провинциях Канады, а его инвазионный ареал охватывает большую часть Европы и южные регионы России.

Oak Lace Bug Corythucha arcuata (Say, 1832): Taxonomic History and Distribution
This article is devoted to the analysis of the taxonomic status and distribution of the invasive pest – the oak lace bug Corythucha arcuata (Say, 1832) (Hemiptera: Tingidae). The paper traces the history of the taxonomic study of the species, from its original description to the subsequent amalgamation of a number of closely related forms into a single species. The distribution of C. arcuata within its natural (native) range – North America – is examined in detail. An analysis of historical records and current data has shown that, to date, the species has been recorded in 40 US states and 3 Canadian provinces, while its invasive range covers most of Europe and the southern regions of Russia.
