Due process paranoia: psychological aspect of the procedural efficiency of international arbitration proceedings

An important element of international arbitration is undoubtedly the due process of law, provided by the procedural culture of arbitrators. However, in recent years, due process paranoia has become increasingly worrisome, which is associated with a constant increase in costs and delays of the parties. This goes against the standards of efficiency enshrined in most arbitration rules. This article presents the psychological aspect of this problem, as well as its impact on the effectiveness of international arbitration proceedings.
