«Spirit of time» and «spirit of the nation» in poetic manifests of N. A. Lvov

The article is devoted to N.A.Lvov's (1753 - 1803) reception of Russian folk tradition and its refraction in his creative works. The discourse is based on observations concerning his poetic manifests «Russian 1791 year» and «Dobryn'a». For the first time they are described as an aesthetic complex. The purpose of the research is to explain Lvov's concept of the national specificity in art.
