Spiritual, moral and patriotic education of a citizen of the Russian Federation at the present stage of development of society

In this article, the author examines the issues of spiritual, moral, and patriotic education through the prism of the historical development of society. It is safe to note the huge role of these factors in the process of forming a person's personality, along with physical education, which, expressed in military sports, health and sports events, has a huge impact on the formation of a citizen. At the same time, at the present stage of development of our state, the problem of spiritual, moral and political education is one of the key issues in the patriotic formation and education of a true citizen of our country. Analyzing modern society, one can notice a tendency to degradation of the spiritual and moral values of society in our time, which has not been able to fully and fully preserve its moral, spiritual core. The author comes to the conclusion that solving the problem of spiritual, moral and patriotic education is a priority task of the state, requiring careful study and immediate response in the political, cultural sphere, the media and the sports community.
