Spiritual and moral development of a person as a factor of social development

The author views the issue of the driving forces and factors of society development, analyzes and synthesizes the current scientific approaches to their consideration. It is necessary to take into account and evaluate the impact on social development of the internal spiritual and moral development of the individual. The author emphasizes the fact that in order to overcome the anthropological crisis in the modern world as well as for the further progressive and creative development of society and the implementation of its modernization, it is important to recognize the multidimensionality of a person, the need to enhance the quality of synthesis and the ability to perform various types of activities, as opposed to linear narrow professional skills that are relevant only for a short period of time and under the limited conditions. However, one of the most important factors and necessary conditions for the development of society is to accept the spiritual and moral development of its members. Human beings, their inner perfection, spiritual and moral transformation should become the goal and condition for the modernization in both individual societies and entire states. For this reason, it is necessary to establish conditions for this development of individuals, including the development of their will, consciousness and thinking as well as their ability to be creative and to work on themselves.
