Spiritual and moral development of student’s personality during foreign language communicative activity

The article discusses the impact of intercultural communication on the formation of spiritual and moral values of students in the course of foreign language teaching. The author has investigated the influence of cross-cultural communication on understanding of foreign culture and awareness of the values of native culture and language. The key idea is that for achieving of mutual understanding at cross-cultural communication the future specialists should not only learn foreign culture, but also native culture with the aim of cultivating their spiritual and moral values.
