The article examines the main aspects of spiritual and moral education as a factor of civil and patriotic personal development in the context of the realities of modern Russian society, in which there is a radical change in the value orientations of the younger generation, influenced by the media space, art, family, educational environment and other elements that determine the construct of public consciousness.
