The article considers the essence of spiritual and moral education of future teachers and its content components: awakening and development of moral sense, development of moral will, inducement to moral behaviour. The authors discuss the axiological approach, pedagogical motivation as essential conditions of spiritual and moral education of students majoring in education science.
