Spiritual processes and tendencies of the soviet education system in the 1930 - 1990's

The article reviews the influence, which the Soviet ideology made on the education system in the period from the revival of the traditional education science (the beginning of the 1930-s) to the end of the Soviet era. It is shown, that the focus on materialistic philosophy and the lack of spiritual foundations caused irreversible degradation processes in the Soviet education, which concerned first and foremost the moral principles of education. This resulted in considerable instability and disorientation in the minds of new generations of Soviet people, and, consequently, in the collapse of the state.
