Twice jubilee: archimandrite Palladiy (P. I. Kafarov) and his «Dictionary»

Article is devoted to the life and activity of one of outstanding sinologists of the XIX century – the archimandrite Palladiy (Kafarov) whose works in many respects defined strategy of development of Russian oriental studies. At the next year, 2013, two anniversaries will be celebrated: 135 years from the date of his death and the 125 – from the edition of his well-known «The Chinese-Russian dictionary».
