The Migration Period in western Crimea is represented by rare graves of nomadic Huns which have been discovered in abandoned Late Scythian fortified settlements and cemeteries. In 2022 two more graves dating to this period were discovered in the southern sections of the Ust’-Alma cemetery; these were secondary graves made in the burial chambers of the Late Scythian vaults that were not in operation anymore. Given that such graves have been found on rare occasions, their publication is quite relevant. One of the burials (no. 1293/1) which belonged to a male can be dated to the period from the last quarter of the 4th century to the first half of the 5th century AD, whereas the other burial (no. 1313/1) that belonged to a Mongoloid female was made in the first half of the 5th century AD.
