This article focuses on the analysis of motor responses as a key element of legal self-defense. It explores how physiological mechanisms of responding to a threat are transformed into conscious defensive actions within the legal framework. The article emphasizes the importance of assessing the adequacy of motor responses to sudden aggression and their compliance with the criteria of necessary defense. The study addresses the controversial aspects of evaluating motor responses in forensic practice, highlighting the need to consider the psychophysiological characteristics of individuals in moments of danger. The results highlight the significance of understanding the motor component for the legal classification of defensive actions.
