The article is devoted to the complex analysis of the yard workout as a unique practice of family interaction in the conditions of urbanization and digitalization... The purpose of the work is to identify the motives, barriers, practices and effects of joint activities of family members on street sports grounds... The scientific novelty consists in focusing precisely on the family format, combining quantitative (questioning 50 parents) and qualitative (depth interviews with 25 families, 75 participants) methods. The results show a high demand: 72% of families are engaged weekly. The key motives of parents are strengthening the health of children (92%), distraction from gadgets (86%), joint time (78%). For children, the leading factors are interest (82%) and communication with parents (76%). Empirically confirmed significant effects: improving physical fitness and coordination of children (79%), increasing their confidence (88%), strengthening intra-family communication (92%) and mutual understanding through common goals (88%), reducing screen time (74%), strengthening parental authority (64%). Identified the main barriers: weather, differences in training, lack of time, the state of infrastructure. The study proves that the yard workout is transformed from fitness activity into an effective social tool for health promotion, family ties and positive traditions.
