Two medium self-similar boundary layer on a flat plate

Conditions for the existence of self-similar boundary layer for the motion of two immiscible fluids were obtained. The introduction of new variables, initial boundary value problem is transformed into a problem with the initial conditions (Cauchy problem). The influence of the physical properties of the two media on the wall shear stress and velocity profile inside the boundary layer was studied.
