The conduct of all investigative actions is based on principles accepted in criminology and based on criminal procedural legislation. One of the most important principles of investigative actions is unified management of the investigative action. Such leadership is carried out by the investigator (interrogating officer). The implementation of this principle by the investigator is often hampered by factors that shape the forensic complexity of the investigative action. © Кисленко С. Л., Хижняк Д. С., 2024 The article proposes a definition of the forensic complexity of an investigative action. Taking this into account, using the example of crime scene investigation, a program for implementing the principle of unified management of the investigative action is proposed. This program is developed based on the application of the modeling method. In particular, it is based on a number of procedural models of investigator’s activity.
