The article is devoted to the issue of the place of one-time payments in the system of motivation of working personnel. The aspects of formation and functioning of the material motivational model at modern Russian enterprises are considered. Features of surcharges and their types are singled out. The tendency of efficiency of one-time payments as a means of personnel motivation is analyzed. Special attention is paid to the analysis of one-time payments in the practice of personnel management by Japanese enterprises. In conclusion of the article, the main directions for improving the system of one-time payments are highlighted to increase the level of incentives for staff in Russia.
