The article provides a theoretical analysis of the unity and diversity of the Altai language family. The author examines the structural features of the Altai language family using the example of a group of Turkic languages. Despite their rich history and vast distribution area, Turkic languages have common structural features with other Eurasian languages of the Altai and Uralic types. In our work, we relied on the results of research by many scientists involved in this topic, their points of view and hypotheses. In this review, we tried to provide several convincing examples of characteristic common features and phenomena unique to the Turkic language.
