The geology of the Edzhyd-Kyrta coal field in the Pechora Basin is discussed in detail. The correlation of this field structure with wellstudied stratified sections of coal-bearing sediments of the North-Vuktyl area is realised. The new data on vegetation prints from the Edzhyd-Kyrta coalbearing deposit are given.
