Economic opportunities and the importance of corridor 10 in Serbia

Corridor 10 is one of the most important pan-European transport corridors passing through Serbia connecting Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia and Greece. With this project, the transportation system of the Republic of Serbia becomes compatible with the transport system of the European Union, with a tendency of further modernization, in order the Republic of Serbia would be ready to comply with EU standards in the field of transport. The realization of this important project will come to a general acceleration of transit traffic, improve the level of services, facilitate the international trade flows and the transport of passengers and commercial and trade activities in the region will contribute to regional development and cohesion of the wider Balkan region.
