- Selected technology stack and the need for third-party service integrations;
- Estimated workload of specialized professionals (developers, system analysts, UI/UX designers, QA engineers);
- Requirements for SLA (Service Level Agreement) and subsequent technical support.

SciUp Publishing Platform
The SciUp.org publishing platform is a modern technological online publishing platform. The platform supports a multilingual format and provides advanced tools for publishing scientific content on the platform website and in the SciUp mobile application.
The platform provides simple online publishing, convenient subscriptions, fast search, and comfortable reading of scientific content.
The SciUp publishing platform includes the following software modules:
- A) User Service.
- B) Publisher Service.
- C) Scientific Journal Publishing Service.
A) User Service
The user service allows users to register an account on the platform. A user account can be used for reading, uploading publications, building a library, and directly publishing works in open access on the publishing platform. The service provides tools such as: my uploads, my publications, my bookmarks.
Depending on their status, users on the platform can have either reader or author status. Author status allows the creation of a personal author page. The author page is a form where the author can specify personal information, interests, pseudonym, and other required fields. Users of the service can subscribe to the author's publications.
The user service supports online publication of the following document types: article, review article, review, theses, report, scientific article, dissertation, abstract. For each work published on the platform, a universal publication page is created, which becomes accessible to users on the Internet.
B) Publisher Service
A registered user can expand their account to publisher status by creating a publisher profile.
The publisher profile allows the creation of an official publisher page on the platform, management of publishing tools, publication of scientific content, creation of journal profiles, granting administrative rights to journal editors, and more.
The publisher's profile includes a section with a general description of the publisher, a section linking to the publisher's journals, a section listing publications, and a section with contact information.
C) Scientific Journal Publishing Service
The SciUp publishing platform provides advanced capabilities for scientific journal publishing. A unique software solution in the form of a specialized journal profile has been implemented for publishing scientific journals.
The journal profile allows management of publishing tools, creation of interactive journal contents, uploading and editing journal issue publications, management of access modes for published information, and more.
The journal profile includes a journal description section, journal issues section, a section featuring its rubrics and articles, sections for authors and editors, contact information section, and more.
SciUp Mobile App
The SciUp mobile application is a service for convenient mobile reading of scientific articles on devices with small screens. It allows users to build their own collection of scientific journals and articles, subscribe to journals, and receive new journal issues immediately after publication.
The SciUp mobile application is adapted for convenient navigation on small screens, displays journal structures, provides fast navigation through journals and articles. All journal articles are organized into thematic rubrics. Each journal includes the following structure: journal description, journal issues, interactive contents, thematic rubrics, article catalog, section for authors, editorial board section, journal search, contact information, and more. All articles are formatted and structured in accordance with the requirements of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation (VAK RF).
The application is available for installation on mobile devices via RuStore, Google Play, AppGallery, and other mobile application distribution platforms.
