Abstract: Diffuse non-toxic and nodular goiter occupies an important place in the morbidity structure of the population and its frequency among endocrine diseases is 21%, all of which require surgical treatment. Purpose: Analysis of methods of preoperative preparation of patients with thyroid diseases (diffuse non-toxic and nodular goiter) and assessment of their effectiveness. Materials and methods: for the examination, 110 patients were divided into 2 groups: the main group included 55 patients, preoperative preparation with traditional drugs - 55 patients, preoperative preparation with special drugs - 55 patients, central hemodynamics in 5 stages. Results. The studied hemodynamic parameters in patients with thyroid disease of the 1st group remained stable until the 5th stage. In patients of the 1st group, normalization of blood pressure was observed, in patients of the 2nd group - an increase in hemodynamic parameters. It has been shown that in the postoperative period the amount of glucose and cortisol in the blood of patients increases, which indicates the low effectiveness of preoperative preparation and the ineffectiveness of anesthesia. Conclusions: An analysis of the methods of preoperative preparation of patients with thyroid diseases showed that the introduction into the complex of preoperative preparation, in addition to traditional drugs, helped to eliminate hemodynamic changes during surgery. operation. Key words: preoperative preparation, anesthesia, thyroid gland, goiter.
