Evangelic subtext and Jewish theme in "Vladychny sud" by N.S. Leskov

The article gives an interpretation of NS Leskov's story, which results from a "metaphorical" reading of the work in the biblical, Old and New Testament context: a real fact grows into a symbol, a metaphor, even a parable; the history of one Jew is based on the poetics of the Gospel narrative.
