Eugenics projects from the perspective of the future of humanity

According to the latest data, the world’s population is 7.5 billion people. This figure increases dramatically every year. The human mind has become an excessive advantage in the struggle for resources. Animals are losing in this war, and people are competing with themselves. The fragile natural balance is broken, and this problem has become an extremely important. Nowadays, the eugenic projects have been developed again, because mankind has realized that it is necessary not only to limit population growth but, perhaps, adapt a person to or “improve” him for the new environment. The study analyzes the human transformation projects based on eugenic strategies of the future which serve as the alternatives to human existence in an intensively changing world. The research discusses various eugenic projects that have changed its form and content depending on the historical epochs. They become more relevant in the context of the latest developments in genetics and biotechnology as well as the discussions on the legal and moral status of interference in the human genome with a view to creating his new qualities to be successfully engaged in the competitive relationship. The methodological basis of the study is the dialectical, comparative, comprehensive and specific historical research approaches.
