Eugenics: history and present time

Eugenics is a project to improve human breed and as a scientific direction it contains its own history, philosophical grounds. Initially, it was seen as the basis for maintaining physical and moral health within the family. But at the moment it has been qualified as a scientifically based concept, which aims to prevent all kinds of deviations: mental and physical. The author considers the conceptual provisions of eugenics, criticizes its weak points and points out the possible perspectives that are relevant in connection with the development of medical genetics.
