Europeanization of the image of grandmother in the Russian language consciousness

Nowadays we are living in the epoch of globalization and the world of integration that inevitably leads to rapprochement of people and cultures. However under the influence of growing «europeanization», the images which have developed in the language consciousness of the Russian people gradually assimilate with the western ones, losing their national specificity and originality. In the given article on the basis of the analysis of associative dictionaries and experiments carried out within the limits of psycholinguistic paradigm the question of the dynamics of images in the Russian language consciousness is considered.
