The business environment factors of enterprises'' Functioning, which support their sustainable development and competitiveness in the national and global economy

The article presents the research results on systematization of the factors of modern business environment development that supports sustainable development of enterprises in the long term. The authors classify the challenges impeding the implementation of the sustainable development strategy: external (environmental, economic, social) and internal (economic, managerial, social). The factors are divided by the level of influence into the factors of macro-, meso-, micro- and nano-environment. It is emphasized that the adaptive response allows an economic entity to resist external threats and internal problems.
