Development factors, diagnosis and treatment methods of diabetic nephropathy

The urgency of the problem of diabetic nephropathy (DN) is due to the fact that the incidence of DN is growing in parallel with the incidence of diabetes mellitus (DM), complicating the course of type 1 diabetes in 40-50% of cases and type 2 diabetes in 15-30% of cases, which leads to disability and premature death due to the development of chronic kidney disease (CKD). In the conducted scientific work, many years of research have been demonstrated, during which the main and most significant causes contributing to the development and progression of DN have been identified. This scientific article also reflects the greatest danger of DM, which is associated with complications that develop due to its damaging effect on blood vessels, in particular, diabetic nephropathy (DN).
