Risk factors of formation of alcoholism in men and women of later age groups during early and late onset of disease

In order to reveal risk factors of formation of alcohol dependence in men and women of later age (more than 60 years), complex clinical examination of 462 patients with alcohol dependence (according to ICD-10, F10.2-10.7) of male and female sexes has been carried out. Out of them there were male - 391, female - 71 persons older than 60 years. According to sign of primary seeking for addiction psychiatrist after or before 60 years, two groups among male and female sexes each have been distinguished. It has been identified that alcohol dependence in persons of later age has distinctive risk factors participating in formation of alcoholism.
