This article presents the results of studies of leading scientists involved in the influence of risk factors for ovarian cancer (OC), which allowed to determine the potential differences in the relationship with risk factors depending on the aggressiveness of the tumor, determined on the basis of the time from diagnosis to the date of death. Ovarian cancer remains an urgent problem in oncology, due to the steady increase in morbidity, the spread of advanced forms, the increase in the number of cases among young women and the high mortality rate. Risk factors are still not clearly established. Approximately half of the cases of epithelial OC is fatal within three years; however about 35% of women can expect 10-year survival. Analysis of the results showed that there are certain risk factors that affect the aggressiveness of ovarian tumors.
