Factors of semantic compatibility of predicates with phraseological characterizers of process quality (in the Russian and English languages)

This article considers a semantic role of phraseological units with the meaning of the process quality characterization with verbs. The author works out principles of compatibility of phraseological characterizes with verbal lexemes in Russian and English, and on its basis analyzes the systemic peculiarities in the functioning of the compared languages.
