This study is aimed at studying the potential factors of a sustainable development strategy. The article deals with theoretical and applied issues of the development of a sustainable development strategy in Russia. The main reason for the creation of a sustainable development strategy has been identified. The main stages of the development of the company's sustainable development strategy and the factors that have the greatest impact on its implementation are identified.
