This article presents a study dedicated to identifying the factors transforming teachers' professional activity in the context of digitalization. The sample consisted of teachers from schools, colleges, and universities in the Sverdlovsk region (N=127) in technical, natural science, humanities, creative, and other fields. Participants ranged in age from 20 to 67 years. The methods and techniques used included a questionnaire with the questions on socio-demographic status; the «Transformations of Teachers' Work Behavior in the Digital Information Environment» questionnaire by E.V. Patrakov; the «Technological Readiness Index» (TRI, Parasuraman, Colby, adapted by E.V. Zabelina); and factor analysis. The results obtained allowed us to conclude that there is a connection between a positive attitude toward technology and increased motivation, perceived opportunities for creative approaches, while discomfort and mistrust are associated with a sense of professional loss. Factor analysis allowed us to diff erentiate the overall structure of the transformation, identifying independent factors. Professional development proved to be the most significant factor. Furthermore, the identified separation between general technological optimism and attitudes toward digitalization in professional activity indicates the specificity of the latter. Directions for further research into latent factors were identified, which may include communicative, motivational, and value-based aspects of professional activity in the digital environment.
