Factors of sustainable development of the region in modern conditions

The article considers approaches to ensuring the sustainability of regional development at the present stage of development. New directions of development are highlighted in the national development Strategy of Russia for the period up to 2025. The main components of sustainable development of regions are identified: social, environmental, and economic. Factors that ensure the sustainable development of regions and their assessment are considered. Cooperation between the state and business is highlighted as one of the main factors. The necessity of forming new approaches to assessing the effectiveness of management of such business structures is justified.
