The article analyzes the factors affecting the wear of the cutting edge of disk tillage tools. A diagram of the forces acting on the disk working body is given. The key role of the particle size distribution of the soil on the wear of the disk is indicated. An estimate of the change in the coefficient of friction and soil in steel depending on humidity is given. The nature of the wear of the blades of the disks of the working bodies depending on the type of soil is established. The need for increasing the durability of the blade of the working body is indicated.
