Factors affecting Sino-Russian economic and trade development in the process of linking the “One Belt, One Road” initiative and the EAEU

The purpose of this paper is to study the factors that have the most significant impact on the Sino-Russian trade and economic development within the framework of docking the initiatives “One Belt, One Road” and EAEU. The paper analyzes the foreign trade and foreign policy factors that influence the development of trade and economic relations between China and the Russian Federation within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” and EAEU projects, and offers recommendations for their elimination or mitigation. The paper concludes on the importance of cooperation between the PRC and the Russian Federation within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative and the Eurasian Economic Union, which will allow to the greatest extent to reveal the full potential of trade and economic relations.
