Factors impacting on the state of health of the Russian population

The article deals with the outcomes of examining the factors of public health of the Russian population. The factors were elicited by means of the mathematical statistics methods (Pearson’s pair correlation coefficients). The data from Rosstat covering 80 subjects of the Russian Federation for 2008 served as an information base of the study. Life expectancy at birth was taken as an indicator of the public health of the Russian population.
