In the Ferghana Valley, the influence of adverse environmental factors in recent years has affected the state of the mother-placenta-fetus system, which leads to the development of fetal and newborn pathology. In the Ferghana Valley region, a high incidence of reproductive pathology, complicated pregnancy and childbirth, increased morbidity and mortality of newborns were revealed. In the early neonatal period, 25-80% of premature infants develop respiratory disorders, which determine the severity of the child's condition and dysfunctional outcomes. However, to date, the issues of pre- and perinatal losses in the ecologically disadvantaged region of the Ferghana Valley have not been sufficiently studied in comparison with the state of health of pregnant women, as well as pathomorphological changes in the respiratory system of the fetus and newborn.
