Pharmaceutical industry in conditions of economic instability and prospects for its development

The modern realities of the economy pose new challenges to the pharmaceutical sector of the Russian economy. Many companies faced negative consequences after the imposition of sanctions by the United States and the European Union, which led to structural changes in factors affecting the development of the market. Thus, logistical problems and difficulties with payment have led to problems in the supply of imported medicines and substances. In these conditions, there is a need not only to adapt to new conditions, but also to provide the population with the necessary drugs. This article discusses the problems of the pharmaceutical market in the conditions of sanctions and economic instability, as well as its prospects for development.
