Pharmacoeconomic aspects of antidepressant therapy (literature review)

In the article, review of literature, reflecting clinical and economic sides of treatment of depressive disorders, has been presented. Taking into account the purposes of antidepressant treatment in comparative aspect, data on efficiency and safety of antidepressants of various groups and also materials on economic purposefulness of application of so-called «classical», and modern medications have been presented. The attention is paid to the fact that, despite of availability of results of numerous investigations of medicines, in particular, antidepressants, issue of continuous monitoring of efficiency and safety of medicines during their application in practical activities remains of relevance.
