Pharmacoepidemiologic assessment of antibacterial drug consumption at the outpatient stage using PDD-methodology

The study of medicine consumption including an-tibiotics allows to elicit drawbacks in their administra- tion, rationalize their use according to standarts of therapy that on the whole improves the quality of medi-cal care. On the basis of investigations results it is possible to optimize the medicine use at the outpatient stage by authoritative measures. Experience in analy-zing antibacterial drugs consumption for community-acquired pneumonia treatment at the outpatient stage on the basis of clinical practice using PDD-methodo-logy is presented.
