Pharmacological correction of free radical processes in patiens with discirculatory encephalopathy

Clinic pharmacological investigation of mexidolum influence on the endogenic antioxidant protection of pattens of older age groups suffering from discirculatory encephalopathy of overage degree of severity has been performed. Pharmacotherapentic correction of free radical processes by mexidolum is manifested by increasing of glutathione concentration in erythrocytes, induction of glutationperoxidase activity in erythrocytes and blood plasma, and also by decreasing of clinical manifestations of chronic cerebral ischemia.
