The article presents data on the fauna and bird population of Alkhanay National Park, obtained during the field student practice in early June 2022. We have described the most interesting findings of the black stork, demoiselle crane, northern wren and Eurasian bullfinch. For the first time, such rare species of the south of Eastern Siberia and Zabaykalsky Krai as the Baikal teal, long-tailed duck, Baer's pochard, crested honey buzzard, eastern marsh harrier, cinereous vulture, Chinese yellow wagtail, black-naped oriole, Hume's warbler, brown accentor, white-throated rock thrush, and Siberian blue robin had been found on the territory of the park, most of them were encountered during spring migration, particularly at the final stages of migration.
