Phased approach to building environmental responsibility of an enterprise

The aim of this study is to identify an adequate framework for phased corporate environmental responsibility build-up. Through building ecological responsibility of an enterprise the idea of the concept of green economy is established on the corporate level. This process can be broken down through the planning, controlling and the phase of improving the environmental performances of business. Implementing the green economy concept at the enterprise level through the establishment of its environmental responsibility means inclusion and respect for environmental dimension along the entire chain of activities related to the formulation and implementation of corporate strategy. However, the whole process is necessary to be "built" in parallel with the development of environmental awareness of enterprise and on an ongoing basis, which is a necessary prerequisite for the proper and successful "implantation" of the green economy and environmental responsibility concept idea in the business process of an enterprise.
