Phase equilibrium for the system propanol -propyl formate with deep eutectic solvent (chloride choline: urea) at 313.15 K

The separation of mixture propanol - propyl formate by deep eutectic solvent (DES) based on choline chloride was investigated. The liquid-liquid equilibria for the systems propanol - propyl formate - DES were studied at 313.15 K and atmospheric pressure. Compositions of coexisting equilibrium phases were determined by 1H NMR spectroscopy. The efficiency of separation of the system propanol - propyl formate by the DES formed by choline chloride with hydrogen-bond donor (urea) was evaluated by calculating distribution coefficients and selectivity values. Correlation of experimental LLE data by NRTL equation was carried out.
