This paper demonstrates an uneven nature of cultural development in theEast European steppes and Near East Civilizations as well as the Balkan-Aegean region.Based on the evidence provided, several stages fitting in the same time range of culturaldevelopment can be singled out for this region. Sometimes these stages practically coincidewith climatic periods, while the startup and the end of such stages tend to be linked todrastic changes in climatic temperature or humidity. Tentative delimiters of the time spansinclude 3300-3200, 2800-2700, 2300-2200, 1800-1700, 1300-1200, 900-800 BC.These are the periods of active cultural changes and massive migratory waves. Hence,a relative synchronous variability of historical development, probably, depended largelyon the changing natural environment
