Federal territories: world experience

This article examines the features of the functioning of federal territories in Malaysia, India, Pakistan and Venezuela. The federal territories of the mentioned states have a special constitutional and legal status, and the normative legal acts of these countries provide for the consolidation of direct or indirect management of such territories by the central authorities.
