Data on the phenological observation of 44 herbaceous plants taxa of the exposition «Shadow Garden» at the Botanical Garden of Petrozavodsk State University (South Karelia) for the period 2016-2018 are presented. The contrast of weather conditions during the studied vegetation periods allowed us to assess the limits of variation of the phenological phases and the fruiting characteristic, for a number of taxa - the relationship between the development of the generative sphere and temperature. The studied species are evaluated as promising and well-adapted for cultivation in the conditions of Southern Karelia.
