The article considers the issues of Orthodoxy influence on the education system in post-Soviet Russia. On the basis of the analysis of articles published in the journal «Pedagogy» the author attempted to understand changes in pedagogical ideas of the early nineties of the XXth century on the problem of spirituality formation.
