Communicative phenomenon of solidarity in the youth protest communities

In contemporary science, the topic of social solidarity is certainly relevant and evolving. A special factor in the development of this theme is the active formation of social communities is not only real, but also the virtual world. In the XXI century social media are a tool for the formation of macro and micro social solidarity in modern society. The aim of the article is to examine the methodological features of the study of the communicative solidarity in social media. From the synthesis of definitions of «solidarity» and communicative characteristics of solidarity we can say that in the most general form of communicative solidarity that arises in the course of transmission and reception of information, based on harmony and trust, as well as serving the foundation of unity of social actors to achieve a certain goal. The study of the communicative solidarity in social media needs to be based on the methodology of network analysis (SNA). At the empirical level, the use of network analysis methodology in the study of the phenomenon of communicative solidarity defines the basic structural components of typical communicative practices in social media, to carry out their typology and classification in the context of specific situations. In the second part of the article the author presents data of sociological research on youth protest destructive communities.
